Why I built this
I’ve been playing Elite Dangerous since 2015 and Star Citizen since 2019. Both have given me years of exploration, questionable decisions, and good times with the people I fly with. Along the way, I’ve also spent a lot of time in the community tools that help make sense of these enormous games.
There are some brilliant tools out there, built by people who care deeply about these universes. I’ve used plenty of them. Eventually, I wanted a space of my own for my group: somewhere I could bring the things we use together, arrange the information around how we play, and keep improving it as our needs change.
That’s where SPACE // STUFF comes from. It lets me organize the data the way my crew wants to see it. Sometimes that means comparing ships or tinkering with a build. Sometimes it means finding something worth hauling, locating a station service, or watching how faction influence is moving across shared systems.
The common thread is making the information easier to use when we’re actually playing together. This is a personal project, shaped by real conversations, feedback, and the occasional “wouldn’t it be useful if…” from the people around me.
